YANA began with a simple question: Who will walk with children who have no family? We believe caring for orphans is not just compassion, but a calling God has given us. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” — James 1:27 In 2008, YANA first encountered the realities of children in Korean orphanages in South Korea. In 2012, this calling became YANA Ministry, grounded in a commitment to long-term relationships rather than temporary help. Today, YANA is in a season of transition, expanding from its roots in Korea toward an international vision of walking with children who have no family. Through long-term relationships, faith, and presence, YANA continues to build a family where children would otherwise walk alone.
